One of the things we hate are competing contractors who try to sell customers work they don’t need, or give inflated prices. For example, selling a customer a roof when they only need a roof repair. Also, there are some very unethical companies who charge prices that are double or triple what you should be paying for your project.
Just look for the companies who do the most advertising. You are paying for that advertising! Pick any of the big names that come to your mind, and invite them to your home. You will be given high price and subjected to very high pressure sales tactics. We have heard of salesmen staying at customer’s home 5 hours or more. We have even heard of customers being forced to threaten salesman with calling the police if they don’t leave!
Actually, we love when you call them first, then call us. You will get fair price and no sales pressure. Only straight talking and knowledgeable discussion about your project. You will see the difference between a large, expensive company that sends out a salesman to you, compared to our service, where you meet directly with project manager who will be running your job.
